Cross out singles

This week we have been learning to play a maths game called "cross out singles."
You start by drawing a 3 by 3 grid. Then someone rolls a die and whatever number appears on the die , you write it in 1 box. When your grid is full, you add up all the rows, columns and diagonals of 3 and write them at the end of the line. If you have any numbers round the outside that there are only 1 of them ,cross them out and up the remaining numbers. The person with the highest total wins.
